THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The 1:1:1 Ratio is formulated with equal parts CBD, CBG, and THC to maximize the entourage effect. This ratio takes advantage of the benefits of CBG, in addition to the well-documented benefits of equal parts CBD and THC. Similar to CBD, CBG can reduce the sedative effects of THC and endocannabinoids, but it can also help limit adrenaline receptor activity, which is possibly why people report a mild energizing yet relaxing effect.
